WELCOME FIRST GRADE FAMILIES

First grade is magic! Our year will be filled with a variety of learning opportunities, both academic and social. We will grow in many different ways together. My goal is to keep our learning meaningful and rigorous, while also having fun. Learning should be joyful and I hope to help foster an environment where our students look forward to coming to school and digging into our work. 

I value a strong partnership with families too. I will send a weekly newsletter that gives an overview of what's ahead for that week. I'll also reach out to families individually. I like to celebrate wins with you, share notable moments that are happening in school and talk through any concerns I may have. Please reach out to me too! Email is the best way to connect with me. If you'd prefer a phone call, it's typically best to schedule a time with me via email first because I'm away from my desk most of the day, but happy to connect in a way that works best.
