MISD Asking For Your Feedback On Long Range Facilities Planning
Mercer Island, WA, October 13, 2023 – This past week, the Mercer Island School District held three Community Engagement Sessions to present proposals and ideas from the Long Range Facilities Planning Committee. While nothing has been decided, the presentations and feedback from the community will help the District complete the final Long Range Facility Plan (LRFP).
We are asking our community to provide additional feedback on the LRFP proposals by watching a recorded community engagement session and then completing a survey, linked here and through the QR code. The power point shown at the Community Engagement Sessions can be found here.
Watch Community Engagement Session Provide Feedback on LRFP Proposals
Over the course of a series of five meetings in the spring and a final meeting in September, the LRFP Committee developed recommendations for future improvements to our schools. These recommendations were shared with the Mercer Island community at the three Community Engagement Sessions held this week to solicit additional input from the community to help further shape the recommendations.
More information on our LRFP, including a FAQ, can be found here.
Members of the community can sign up to receive MISD news via email on the LRFP. Select “Long Range Facilities Plan (LRFP)” on our Sign Up For MISD News Form.
We appreciate all the feedback we have received from the community at the Community Engagement Sessions on the LRFP.
