New MISD Families Invited To New Family Welcome Event October 17
Hello New Mercer Island Families,
The Mercer Island School District New Family Welcome event is scheduled for Thursday, October 17, from 6pm-7:30pm in the Commons at Islander Middle School. Islander Middle School is located at 7447 84th Ave. SE.
At the New Family Welcome, pizza will be served and music students from the high school will perform. No RSVP is necessary and children are welcome. More than 25 Island community organizations will be in attendance to offer you information about their services. You will also be able to meet me, members of the MISD School Board, and key school district leaders.
As part of our New Family Welcome event we hope you will fill out this short survey. We are hoping to learn more about why you chose MISD and how we can better serve new families in the future. The information you provide can improve our processes, services, and programs for new families.
I am eager to welcome you and your family to MISD and I look forward to meeting each of you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Fred Rundle
Superintendent
