West Mercer Hosting Tours For Prospective Families February 26 and March 28

Mercer Island, WA, January 9, 2025 – West Mercer Elementary School will be hosting school tours on Wednesday, February 26 and Friday, March 28. The tours will take place from 10am-11am.
The purpose of the tours is to give prospective families, either on Mercer Island or off, a chance to visit the school on a typical school day.
Community members interested in visiting one of the schools will need to wait outside the main school entrance at 10am to be let into the school by a school staff member.

The last student school day in the Mercer Island School District for the 2024-25 academic year will be Friday, June 20.

Since 2013 fifth graders at West Mercer Elementary have completed a novel writing project with author Roz Ray that is funded by a grant from the Mercer Island Schools Foundation (MISF).

The Mercer Island School District 2024-25 academic calendar has changed after the closure of schools for three days from November 20-22 due to power outages from a wind storm and on February 5 because of snow.
